Weight has never been an issue for me, and I have always been considered thin, but in good shape. After the births of my children in 2001 and 2004 I lost all the weight within a few months, but certain body parts always remained flabby. I worked out at the gym and at home with weights, did lots of crunches and tons of cardio thinking that this would make me more toned. I consistently pulled muscles in my neck, back and shoulders, that I later learned was from poor form. After a few months of this, I was looking and feeling okay, but my body stayed the same and that?s when I realized I had hit a plateau.
I made a decision to work with Kristi twice a week. She showed me a healthier way to eat to increase my metabolism, which turned out to be more food then I was used to eating. She also taught me to cut down on my cardio from 5-6 days a week to 3-4 days a week. We worked on my form when we lifted weights and I have not pulled any muscles thanks to her. All of these revelations were quite a pleasant surprise to me! Within 10 weeks I was down four dress sizes, but still weighed the same! Now when I look in the mirror I see more muscle on my body and less flab. I learned how easy it really is without having to starve or do any fad diets and I am now inspired to eat healthier and exercise regularly. I have never felt so good in all my life!
